John got to show off his new welder by teaching Brit and my Mom how it works.

After lunch and naptime, we played a couple rounds at the bowling alley on base. It was Austin’s first time at a real bowling alley, and he was in heaven!

After bowling, we tried dinner at a local seafood joint, Crabby Patty’s.

We had never been there before and didn’t really know what to order. The crab sandwiches and Mahi Mahi burgers that some of us ordered were ok, but nothing too special. Caitlin was the smart one who noticed crab legs on the menu for just $8.99!

After she gave me a taste, I ended up going back up and ordering a pound of them myself.

After dinner, we chilled outside (I was so thrilled with the weather, all week it was not too hot where you couldn’t stand to be outside) until dark.

When the mosquitoes got to be too much, we came inside and John mixed up some daiquiris:
